Music theory is the language behind music. Most songs don’t use all notes. They usually only use seven. E Major is the standard tuning of a guitar. Major scale: Whole Whole Half Whole Whole Whole Half. Chords are almost always in the same key. Basic Chord/Major Triad: Root, 3rd, 5th. Major triad is (4)(3) Minor triad is (3)(4).Chord progression:1546 (or 1564??)
